LISO, the first example of our 39' alloy cutter (Design #043) was launched in Bellingham, Washington State in May of 2008. We were fortunate enough to attend the dedication and spend time on LISO with Bob Shenk, her owner. Since then he has circumnavigated Vancouver Island and then cruised south for the winter to Mexico.
More recently LISO left Mexico and is now in the Marquesas, en route for New Zealand and beyond. We are really looking forward to showing off this boat here in New Zealand and with any luck will spend some more time sailing on what is still one of our favourite designs. Here in Auckland the AFC 1175 Cutter (design #080) which is a "souped-up" version of LISO is taking shape and will soon be launched. There is bound to be some sort of a race off between the two boats come November or December when LISO arrives from the islands......!!!
