Our latest design to be launched is the 11.6m QRV RIB for Hawke's Bay CoastGuard at Napier. We attended the launching and first seatrials at Tauranga on 25 May 2009.
There is nothing tentative about the manner in which AMF Boats conducts their seatrials! The technician from Hamilton Jet was later heard to comment that it was only the second time he had ever been airborne in a boat! Top speed for day one was 39.1 knots against the tide, with a full fuel load and 9 people aboard! This boat is gonna ROCK!
This is a testament to the way that Team AMF puts their boats together and we at De Villiers Design are proud to continue our association with them. Well done AMF Boats!
We look forward to the official dedication of this able vessel at Napier on 20 June 2009 and are sure that the Napier CG have a great boat in which to continue their mission.
